How the Schedule Optimiser Works
With every optimisation run, the module applies sequencing logic using three advanced scheduling algorithms to ensure the best possible result is retained:
Classic Scheduling

Evolutionary Scheduling
- Iterative adjustments using virtual delivery dates to prioritise urgent orders.
Hybrid Scheduling
- Combines forward and backward planning to free up capacity and reduce overall delays without affecting existing performance.
The Optimiser evaluates each result using a smart scoring system to compare multiple schedules. It identifies the best outcome based on your chosen criteria, such as total delay, maximum delay, number of delayed orders, average throughput time or capacity utilisation.
