2019 Christmas Opening Hours
We’d like to take this opportunity to wish you and your team a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from us all at Seiki!
Please be aware that we will be closed from noon on Tuesday 24th December until 8.30am on Thursday 2nd January. During that time, please refer all support requests to our support mailbox email@example.com and we’ll respond at the soonest opportunity when we return on the 2nd. As we approach the end of the year, here’s a quick round up of useful information from the Seiki Support team to make sure you’re prepared for 2020…

Microsoft to stop support of Windows 7 in January
As you’re probably aware by now, Microsoft will stop support of Windows 7 after January 14 2020. After this date, Windows 7 PCs will no longer receive software updates from Microsoft that help protect your PCs and ensure that they are properly secured against viruses and other malware.
Just to re-assure you, the current version of all our software products are compatible with both Windows 7 and Windows 10. We do need to advise you that after the 14th January, we will no longer test our products on Windows 7 and therefore cannot guarantee Windows 7 compatibility for future Seiki software versions. Whilst we don’t anticipate this causing any issues for your Seiki manufacturing system going forward, we do recommend that customers install up to date and supported Windows operating systems to protect the security of your business. Visit the Microsoft website for more information
Plan your upgrade to Seiki AIR
Upgrading your software is a critical step in ensuring your applications stay current and it allows you to take advantage of new features and functionality. As our next generation software Seiki AIR is now available, if you haven’t already, we encourage you to start planning your upgrade for 2020.
The first step is to speak to your Seiki account manager to arrange a meeting and demo. During this session we will cover things like your current system configuration, existing hardware suitability, server specifications and any customisation you’ve had implemented. From there we’ll be able to work with you to put together a project plan to make sure your system migration is carried out on time and to budget. Read more about the benefits of upgrading
