The Seiki Scheduler is based on the real capacity of your facility and ensures that stock levels are reduced as materials are only ordered when required, corrective action can be taken to prevent late deliveries and operations are only scheduled when resources are available, reducing W.I.P and avoiding bottlenecks in production.
Production Planning
The system provides a dynamic solution to a typically complex management procedure. It maintains the appearance and functionality of a traditional planning board, making the Scheduler simple to learn and easy to use. Simple drag and drop technology enables 'what if' planning to be undertaken within the context of your scheduling rules, the system will automatically re-schedule the workload for the affected resource and all the operations across the entire shop floor. Automated scheduling algorithms such as delivery date, JIT and pass-through are also available to ensure an optimal schedule is achieved. The system uses a simple traffic light system to preview the consequence of any changes, enabling you to visualise the potential impact to the delivery date on all jobs.
Continuous Improvement
The Seiki Scheduler provides critical business intelligence from finished jobs and operations. The system contains analysis and reporting functions that are designed to interrogate the data held within the Scheduler database, simplifying the analysis process by condensing the information into single graphical displays for live reporting.
