Seiki Systems Networked Manufacturing System Training

Seiki Systems offer a range of training days that are designed to ensure a more thorough understanding of your manufacturing systems' capabilities.

To get the best out of your investment in your Seiki software you need to be able to use it comprehensively and take advantage of all the benefits that it can derive for you and your business. This is where our training solutions come in. Whether you wish to train new members of staff, further develop or refresh your understanding of the system, we will have a training solution for you.

Data Manager

This half day course has been designed specifically for Manufacturing Engineers, CNC Programmers and Shop Floor Supervisors. We recommend delegates have a background in manufacturing or NC programming. The course objectives include:-

  • Provide an overview of the system infrastructure and its capabilities including machine communications
  • Provide a framework of best practices and procedures for the management of CNC programs and other resource data including issue control
  • Introduce the capabilities and benefits of the Seiki Systems CNC editor and viewer

Date: TBC
Time: 9.15 - 12.15, refreshments and lunch are provided
Venue: Seiki Systems, Brighton

Costs & Information: £250 per delegate. Discounts are available for booking of 3 or more delegates or if attending more than one Seiki Systems course.


Management Reporting

This half day course has been designed specifically for Production Managers and those working to improve lean production methods. The course aims to give users the confidence to analyse output data and produce reports that can support continuous improvement strategies. It also provides a solid foundation of knowledge in the following Seiki Systems software modules:-

  • Factory Status
  • Machine Performance Analysis
  • Job Report
  • OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

Date: TBC
Time: 13.15 - 16.15, lunch will be available from 12.15 and refreshments are provided.
Venue: Seiki Systems, Brighton

Costs & Information: £250 per delegate. Discounts are available for booking of 3 or more delegates or if attending more than one Seiki Systems course.


System Administrator

This one day course has been designed specifically to support personnel responsible for maintaining Seiki Systems DNC products, such as IT Support, Supervisory Shop Floor Staff and Engineering Production Staff.

We recommend delegates have a working knowledge of Windows O/S and networking administration. The course objectives include:-

  • Provide an understanding of the system infrastructure and its capabilities, including machine communications
  • Provide the ability to modify, maintain and support all aspects of the system, including the addition of shop floor terminals and to use this knowledge to enhance your user experience
  • Provide confidence and effectiveness in carrying out a 'First Line' support facility within your organisation

Date: TBC
Time: 09.15 - 16.15, lunch and refreshments are provided
Venue: Seiki Systems, Brighton

Costs & Information: £450 per delegate. Discounts are available for booking of 3 or more delegates or if attending more than one Seiki Systems course.


Places are limited to 6 delegates per course on a first come first served basis. Facilities include dedicated training laptops per person that are used in conjunction with machine tool simulators to replicate a working manufacturing environment.

Delegates are requested to arrive 15 mins prior to the start of the training course.

All prices are subject to VAT costs.

It is possible for delegates to take advantage of the highly competitive corporate rates negotiated by Seiki Systems at our recommended local accommodation. Please ask for further information at the time of booking.

Training Terms & Conditions

Bookings can be made by fax, post, email and are considered to be confirmed bookings when made.

Bookings made by telephone should be confirmed within 7 working days and will only be regarded as provisional until Seiki Systems have received written confirmation.

Written notification of cancellation of the course booking within 7 days of the course date, or failure to attend a course without prior written notification, will be subject to the following scale of charges:

  • 50% cancellation fee is applicable if the booking is cancelled 14 days or more prior to the course date
  • 100% cancellation fee is applicable if the booking is cancelled within 7 days prior to the course date
    Note: The original course fee is the amount that has been invoiced.

Customers may substitute the original delegate with another person at no extra charge. Written notification is required to substitute a delegate.

All prices are subject to VAT costs. All course fees must be paid in full upon completion of the course.

Seiki Systems reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, dates or published prices. Changes to course prices, times and dates will be advised before the start date and any course already paid in full will not be subject to the revised price. As a course may be cancelled up to two weeks prior to the published date we do not recommend that delegates make travel arrangements prior to this time. Any travel costs incurred are entirely the delegates responsibility. Seiki Systems does not accept any liability for reimbursement of travel costs.

All course materials provided by Seiki Systems remain the intellectual property of Seiki Systems Ltd.

Seiki Systems shall endeavour to meet any special requirements and dietary needs of delegates. Simply state your requirements at the time of booking and we will make the necessary arrangements prior to your arrival.
